There is no doubt about it, sugar is you biggest enemy when it comes to the weight loss efforts. You can not and will not lose weight if you are eating sugar, or starchy foods. Here are the culprits, and things that you should avoid:
Corn sweetner
Corn syrup
Cane juice
Glucose
High fructose corn syrup
Honey
Molasses
Raw Sugar
Rice Syrup
Saccharose
Sucrose
Xylose
As far as the starches, any white flour, corn flour or milled product, whole wheat or rice starches will turn immediately to sugar in your blood. It is as simple as this. If you are eating a lot of bread, pasta, sticky rice, or cookies and bars, you are eating sugar. It is important that you stay away from any bread and or pastas during your weight loss plan. It will make a huge difference in how hungry you feel.
If you are eating trace amounts of sugar and starch, you will still be at the mercy of the spike of the sugar levels in your blood. This up and down glucose spike, will make you very hungry. If you are not spiking, you will feel hungry, but not ravenous. If you have always felt ravenous, and starved during any diet or weight loss plan, chances are, you were still allowing sugars and starches to leak into your diet. It is important for you to really dedicate yourself to this task, and allow this new idea to take root. If you effectively remove all sugars and starches, you will be surprised by how much better you will feel, and how easy it will be to stay on your nutritional food choices.
Do your best to stay away from sugar and starch. Give yourself a window of time, try for 2 weeks, and at the end of the 2 weeks, see how you have done. Do not give up! You are an incredible person, who has much to offer, and it will be your efforts in this one step that will bring you great results.
